'Grundtvig-ambassador'
On 9th December 2010 EPOS, the LLL-National Agency for Flanders/Belgium, awarded the coordinator of this project, the Higher Institute for Family Sciences, and with it the whole FamCompass-team, as 'Grundtvig-ambassador'.
The jury especially appreciated the social relevance of the project, its professional outcome and the concluding conference, that was opened by Mr. Maroš Šefčovič, at that time the European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth. He stressed the importance of this instrument for the possible exchange of assessments of informally acquired skills and competences in Europe, in view of an aging society and shrinking labor market.
